The Qhushu app in your hand is just the beginning. It is Phase 1 of a much grander vision, one that integrates technology seamlessly into our sacred spaces. We are looking beyond the phone in your pocket and envisioning a tool built specifically for the Masjid.
Our future plan is to develop the Qhushu “Smart Sajada”—a prayer carpet with a high-resolution, glare-free tablet seamlessly integrated at the place of prostration (sujood).
Imagine walking into your local Masjid for Taraweeh. The prayer carpet in front of you silently comes to life, displaying the flowing translation of the Imam’s recitation. It is perfectly positioned in your line of sight as you look down, fulfilling the sunnah of prayer. There is no fumbling with a phone, no brightness to adjust, and no distraction—just a silent, respectful companion guiding you through the prayer.
This is the future we are building.
This product will be available for purchase on our website, both for individuals and for Masjids to install. But this is where our non-profit mission becomes critical: all money generated from the sale of the Smart Sajada will go directly back into the mission.
The revenue will be used to fund the free mobile app, produce more sajadas at a lower cost, and accelerate the development of new features and translations.
